News items that are current will be randomly selected to appear on the main TiiMS page. Each time the page is accessed, the news items will be shuffled and redisplayed. The archive date is the date where the news item will no longer appear on the front page. Items that have been archived will only appear on the news page and then only for 6 months after the archive date. The information will stay in the database, however, and can be retrieved or updated at any time.
